The Altruism Festival has become a tradition in Puerto Vallarta. Year after year the best restaurants in town join this effort leaded by United States Consular Agent Kelly Trainor and the CasaMagna Marriot Resort to raise funds for a great number of local charities and non-profit organizations.

The 10th Annual International Festival of Altruism is taking place this Sunday, May 17th, starting at 6pm in the beachfront garden at Marriot CasaMagna Resort in Marina Vallarta featuring top restaurants in the area offering samples of their best dishes on a wonderful ambience with live music, dancing, entertainment and great company.

All proceeds will be donated to the chosen charities and non-profit organizations who need your help. Each charity will be given the opportunity to host a display at the festival to highlight the great impact they are having on the Puerto Vallarta community. The organizations welcome you to come by to meet them and look forward to receiving your support. Learn about how they work and volunteer opportunities.

Once again the Amigos Medical Assistance Program has been invited to participate. This year for the first time, the Amigos Environmental Programs will also be featured. Not only will your 350 pesos help to support those with unmet medical needs, you’ll be helping the highway, street and recycling programs of La Cruz.

Tickets, which include food, drinks and entertainment, cost just $350 pesos in advance or $450 pesos at the door. Reserve your tickets TODAY by contacting the Amigos de La Cruz at lacruzamigos@gmail.com. Tickets also available at Philo’s, or call Laurel Wilson at 329-295-5502, Steve Cross at 322-191-5275, Carmen Tapia 322-127-5978 or Cindy Bouchard at 322-127-5813.

Mark your calendars and get your tickets. Great food and fun supporting great causes sounds like a winning mix, no?
