Celebrate Conservation-Sat, March 21st! Benefit for the Fundación Punta de Mita with Special Guest: The Redford Center


Fundación Punta de Mita and The Redford Center have joined together to Celebrate Conservation and invite you to be part of this wonderful day + night event, on March 21, 2015.

Begin by joining the Fundación Punta de Mita for a day of play in a golf tournament on the Jack Nicklaus Signature course of the Punta Mita Club de Golf, in support of their various conservation programs.

• 1pm Shotgun start

• Scramble Format

• $200 participation fee

• Prizes for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive for both Men and Ladies

jamieAfter a day of fun on the Golf course, the celebration continues at the Punta Mita Golf Club House. Join The Redford Center and its renowned director and conservationist James Redford, together with Dr. Osvel Hinojosa-Huerta, Director of the Water and Wetlands Program, Pronatura Noroeste, in a Movie Night celebrating and supporting one of the greatest environmental restoration opportunities of our time: an ambitious cross-border effort to reconnect the Colorado River to its Mexican river delta.

The evening will feature a breadth of enriching experiences including dinner and drinks at the Punta Mita Golf Club’s Tail of the Whale restaurant, an open-air screening of Watershed, the 50-minute, award-winning film produced by the Redford Center and Kontent Films that tells the story of the Colorado River and offers solutions for its future, and a special Question & Answer session with filmmaker and Redford Center Chairman, James Redford, together with Dr. Osvel Hinojosa-Huerta.

Welcome cocktail: 6-7pm

Dinner under the Stars: 7-8pm

Movie night, featuring Watershed, followed by
