Punta de Mita Foundation Gala Event!

Greeted with yummy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the St. Regis Altamira Lobby overlooking the sea and sunset, residents of Punta Mita and surrounding areas turned out in droves this past Friday night, March 25th. Besides the usual suspects, present were: Armani, Prada, Dolce, La Perla and Pucci to name a few. WOW, Punta Mita is glam all the way… we all clean up real good after our golf games and bikini surfs! Men in pants, you guys were a handsome crowd, with more than a few tuxes in the mix. Kudos for your fashion style Punta Mita!

This Gala Gourmet Event provided an opportunity to learn more about the important work of our community´s Punta de Mita Foundation and actively participate both in the exciting, upcoming ventures for the area and through silent (well almost, this is a place where people have a lot of intriguing things to say!) and live auctions with an array of specialty items and luxury travel experiences. A private 70 ft. Hatteras Yacht, a weekend oasis of pampering at the St. Regis Resort, sexy lingerie from Mar de Sueños and even an adorable puppy named Mischa our newest, fluffiest resident were a few of the fabulous items that were on the auction menu to raise funds for this worthy organization. Speaking of menus, St. Regis the Live Punta Mita Team wants that delicious dessert again…por favor! The four-course gourmet dinner at the acclaimed Carolina Restaurant in the St. Regis Resort was flawless as is the sophisticated and understated decor.

We want to give a special standing ovation to all of the volunteers and St. Regis staff that put so much heart and soul into making this event magical, you are way too many to name here. Muchas Gracias all of you and to our wonderful, vibrant community in Punta Mita.
