Punta de Mita Village Vacation Rentals
This area actually consists of two neighboring towns, Nuevo Corrall del RIsco and El Anclote, but together, they are simply referred to as the village of Punta de Mita. This is the site of the original settlements on the Punta Mita peninsula, and the beachfront here is known for a gentle surf break --ideal for novice surfers and Paddle Board enthusiasts. The town also has a Fisherman's Co-op, where you can rent panga boats by the hour to take you fishing, whale-watching, on tours to the Marietas Islands, or transport you to one of the neighboring beaches where there's a great surf break.
These seaside villages -- located adjacent to the Punta Mita Resort -- are home to beachfront and acclaimed local restaurants, surf & SUP schools, services, convenience stores and grocers, and several boutique plazas of shops -- Plaza Ollin and Plaza of Shops. It is also home to the Cinco Hotel and its notable Cafe des Artistes del Mar restaurant.
