“A taste of Punta Mita” – The book by Carl Emberson

For over 20 years now, Punta Mita has developed to become a true cuisine treasure, its collection of amazing restaurants inside and outside the resort, the abundant variety of fresh and local products, and the extraordinary gastronomic talents that are attracted to this wonderful peninsula were the main ingredients that gave life to the outstanding culinary scene of Punta Mita, a scene that had to be captured and honored… and this is exactly what Carl Emberson did in his recently released book.

“A Taste of Punta Mita” cookbook is a collection of 94 authentic recipes, created by more than 60 chefs and friends and tested by Club Punta Mita Executive Chef Pato Pérsico. In this book Carl managed to capture the essence of Punta Mita flavors and pays tribute to all the Chefs in the area, as well as those Chefs that have worked, visited, or participated in any of the destination signature events such as Gourmet & Golf, Golf Kitchen or Chef’s Tables, not forgetting those delicious recipes of some of the Punta Mita’s Residents which the author has enjoyed over the years.

A Taste of Punta Mita offers unprecedented access into the kitchens of Punta Mita’s chefs, where the destination’s most delectable dishes are created and where the chefs share for the very first time their techniques, inspiration and best recipes affirms the author.

The Taste of Punta Mita Cookbook is a project created, produced, designed, edited & photographed by the Marketing & Operations team in Punta Mita to raise funds for Fundación DINE Punta Mita. Translated by author’s daughter Chiara Emberson, designed by Marcela Méndez, and produced by Stephanie Morlet. Local photographers Pedro Arias and Stephanie Coufal were responsible for capturing and interpreting the vision of each chef while also sharing the vibrant, colorful culture and lush landscapes of Punta Mita up close.
