Four Seasons Punta Mita hosts Calgary’s River Café for collaborative culinary weekend! Jan 17-18

Two of the most celebrated hospitality brands collaborate for an authentic culinary experience, in their second such endeavor. Celebrated Canadian Chef Andrew Winfield from Calgary’s River Café will join internationally acclaimed team of chefs at the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita for an exclusive cross-cultural culinary weekend, January 17 & 18.

Over the course of two days, guests at the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita – and throughout the Punta Mita region — are invited to experience the unique culinary offerings of Chef Andrew Winfield of the renowned Calgary-based River Café. Winfield brings a passion for local ingredients, and his unique curiosity, on a culinary journey to the Mexican Pacific to explore the regional ‘taste of place’. Every ingredient has a distinct flavor profile, but it also has history and terroir. Winfield finds a way to express purity of ingredients in delicious unexpected combinations that will surprise and delight guests.

“This January, we are very excited to share this wonderful experience and invite guests to join us for a fabulous and luxurious Four Season’s culinary weekend,” states owner of River Café Sal Howell. “Guests will experience the exquisite fresh local coastal cuisine, enjoy the sun, and breathe in the sea air of the glorious Pacific Mexico. We are continuously wowed by the extraordinary hospitality and exceptional service of the Four Seasons team, an emotional massage.”

This natural culinary and cultural partnership is an extension of the first collaboration dinner that took place in September at the River Café in Calgary. Now, guests are invited to experience new techniques and taste unique flavour combinations in a tropical paradise.
