St. Regis Punta Mita kicks off 5-year Anniversary Celebration!

On Friday, November 1, St. Regis Punta Mita kicked off the beginning of events celebrating their 5th Anniversary with a special Champagne Ritual on the beach, followed by a hosted BBQ dinner on the beach with local residents and hotel guests.

Located within Mexico’s most exclusive community along the Riviera Nayarit shores, The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort is celebrating its fifth anniversary with strong and sustained growth, occupancy levels 25 percent higher than last year, and revenues up by more than 30 percent over 2012.  The Resort has also been the recipient of such acclaimed honors as being named Condé Nast Traveler 2013 Top Hotel in the World, Travel + Leisure 2013 World’s Best Awards, AAA Five Diamond Award and Tripadvisor.com Traveler’s Choice Award.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts selected Mexico to introduce the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand in Latin America with the opening of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in 2008, followed by The St. Regis Mexico City in 2009. Mexico has become a one-of-a-kind destination with international appeal, exuding the exclusivity and luxury reflective of the brand.

“The market growth for The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort is very healthy, with a significant 17 percent increase in RevPar and a 21 percent increase in occupancy at the Resort for 2013.” Said General Manager, Carl Emberson. “As the secret of Punta Mita is discovered and word spreads about the St. Regis in particular, we are excited to see similar growth levels for 2014.”
